Benin – Catherine Colonna’s meeting with her Beninese counterpart (29 november 2023)

Catherine Colonna, Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, had a meeting with her Beninese counterpart, Mr Olushegun Adjadi Bakari, in Paris today, Wednesday 29 November 2023.

They welcomed the quality of the partnership between France and Benin as regards the economy, professional training, culture and academic cooperation. The ministers also affirmed their common desire to continue strengthening bilateral relations between our two countries, particularly following President Macron’s visit to Cotonou in July 2022.

The ministers also discussed regional and international issues.
