Bahrain –Release of Nabil Rajab (9 Jun. 2020)

France welcomes the release of human rights activist Nabil Rajab from prison. This announcement was made as part of the royal pardon extended to some 100 detainees for the holiday of Eid al-Fitr.

France reiterates its commitment to the rule of law, freedom of the press and freedom of expression throughout the world.
