Armenia/Azerbaijan – Successful negotiation of a peace treaty (13 March 2025)

France welcomes the announcement of the successful negotiation of a peace treaty between Armenia and Azerbaijan.

It very much hopes that it can be signed as soon as possible.

The normalization of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan, with due regard for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of the two States, must allow the South Caucasus to become a space for peace, integration and cooperation, with open borders, benefiting the populations of the region.
