Laurent Fabius will meet with Julie Bishop, Australian Minister of Foreign Affairs, on April 21.
This meeting falls within the framework of the French-Australian strategic partnership signed in January 2012. This framework provides for high-level consultations to strengthen our cooperation in all areas and to promote the integration of French Pacific territories into their regional environment.
Laurent Fabius, who in his capacity as president of the COP21 has just participated in the Major Economies Forum in Washington, will work with Ms. Bishop on preparing for the 2015 Paris Climate Conference.
The ministers will also discuss the strengthening of our bilateral cooperation in all areas and will review key regional issues and the fight against terrorism.
