Today, 23 December 2020, marks the 10th anniversary of the entry into force of the International Convention for the Protection of All Persons from Enforced Disappearance (CED).

For this anniversary, Argentina and France, which are leading this initiative, have decided to launch a new campaign for the universalization of the Convention with the aim of ending these serious human rights violations and strengthening victims’ rights to truth, justice and reparations.

Through this action, the two countries reiterate their commitment to promoting and protecting human rights, and to ending impunity for the perpetrators of violations.
