France condemns in the strongest possible terms the attack on a Kabul compound housing government ministries, which left several dozen dead and injured.

France offers its condolences to the victims’ families, and to the Afghan people and government.

France will continue to support Afghanistan in the face of terrorism as it pursues the inter-Afghan peace process.
