Q : Russian tourists who have received the Sputnik V vaccine will be allowed to travel to Greece. Will France be prepared to follow Greece’s example and allow Russian tourists who have received the Sputnik V vaccine to enter the country without the EMA’s approval of the vaccine?

A : I would like to remind you at this stage that any arrival in France from a country outside the EU or any departure from our country to a country outside the EU is widely prohibited, except for compelling reasons.

Approval of the Sputnik V vaccine is currently under evaluation by the European Medicines Agency.

France and the EU member states are currently discussing, at the European level, the path to reopening permitted by the progress of the vaccination campaigns in Europe and around the world. France is part of this European coordination.
