European Union – Citizens’ consultations, visit by Nathalie Loiseau to Marseille and Brignoles (April 19-20)

Nathalie Loiseau, Minister for European Affairs, will visit Marseille and Brignoles on April 19 and 20 in the context of the citizens’ consultations on Europe launched in France by President Macron in Epinal on April 17.

These consultations, which will take place from April to October, will allow 450 million Europeans in 27 EU countries to respond to the question “What is your Europe?” and to make concrete recommendations on the functioning of Europe.

Ms. Loiseau will lead citizens’ consultations at the Cité des Associations in Marseille (93, la Canebière) today at 6:00 pm and then at the employment agency in Brignoles (269 Av. adjudant chef Marie Louis Broquier) on April 20 at 3:00 pm. These two public events will be open to the press subject to accreditation.

In these two cities, she will meet with political, administrative and civil society leaders to present this process and to encourage the organization of citizens’ consultations on Europe.
