General condition of the collections conserved in Nantes

Reproduction of documents

No more than 7 articles may be made available per day. Documents may be reserved for two weeks.

Reproduced documents do not carry with them authorisation for publication. This must be requested by letter to the Director of the Archives.

Photocopies

Photocopies are only permitted for documents that are neither bound nor microfilmed.

Photo of the reading room The price for copies is set at 0,30 € per format A4 page and 0,61 € per A3 format page.
Members of the association of friends of the diplomatic archives that have paid their membership fee benefit from a reduction.
Prices for members’ are 0,23 € per A4 format page and 0,30 € per A3 format page.

The price for paper prints of microfilms is 0,30 € a page or 0,40 € per page for members of the association.

Microfilms

For bound volumes, it is obligatory to use the microfilm system.

For volumes that have already been microfilmed, either paper prints or copies of microfilms are made.

Microfilming is undertaken by a service provider who will offer you a quotation based on your order
(form to be completed at the office of the consultation room administration).
