Q : What is your position on what’s going on in Côte d’Ivoire? Has the French army been asked to help reduce tensions?

A : The current climate of insecurity is troubling. We call for calm and the easing of tensions. Disarmament and the reform of the security sectors must be a priority, now more than ever, together with pursuing the process of national reconciliation and the fight against impunity.
