MonConsulat.fr is a portal for online administrative procedures, facilitating administrative access for French nationals abroad. It is simple and secure, allowing the some 2 million French nationals abroad to manage their personal consular records at a distance.
Online delivery of a copy or extract of civil status documents
To receive a copy or extract of a document for a civil status event abroad, it is possible to carry out all formalities online.
Practical advice for good preparation of departures or returns
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs publishes practical advice sheets for French nationals wishing to move abroad and to French nationals abroad who wish to return to France.
Conseils aux voyageurs (Travellers’ advice)
Conseils aux voyageurs aims to facilitate preparation and smooth running of stays abroad. It helps travellers stay informed at all times of the risks they run in each country, and the formalities involved in travelling there.

Ariane : stay connected, stay safe
To improve its crisis response mechanism, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has created an online service enabling French nationals who so wish to declare their trips abroad easily and at no cost. In case of crisis, the recorded data may be used by the Crisis Centre and Embassies, in order to contact registered persons if emergency operations are organized.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs communicates widely through the social web. It is present on Facebook, Google+ and many other platforms, and has also set up various Twitter accounts in French, English, Spanish and Arabic. These accounts are used to exchange with web users, particularly regarding major international policy issues and to distribute practical information.
