Tourism – Launch of a center of excellence devoted to wine tourism in Champagne by Matthias Fekl (Marne, January 23, 2015)

Matthias Fekl, Minister of State for Foreign Trade, the Promotion of Tourism and French Nationals Abroad, will pay a visit to Epernay and Aÿ-en-Champagne to launch a center of excellence devoted to wine tourism.

This new center of excellence will be headed by Michel Bernard, wine-grower and owner of Château Beauchêne (Vaucluse), Honorary Chairman of Inter-Rhône and Chairman of the Wine Tourism Group within Atout France.

During his visit, Mr. Fekl will meet with tourism professionals. In accordance with the recommendations of the tourism conferences held in June 2014, the goal is to strengthen the attractiveness of France to tourists by developing flagship brands and promising initiatives throughout France.
