France condemns the cyber attack against the International Criminal Court (23 October 2023)

France condemns the cyber attack targeting the International Criminal Court.

It also strongly condemns the criminal proceedings initiated in Russia against the Court’s staff – the President, First Vice-President, Prosecutor, judges preparing cases for trial who are involved in the situation in Ukraine, and a trial judge.

These acts seriously undermine the work of the Court.

France reiterates its full support for the International Criminal Court and will continue to work actively to ensure it is able to fulfil its mission independently and impartially.
