OECD – G20 – Signing of a multilateral agreement on combating tax avoidance (7 June 2017)

At the OECD headquarters on June 7, 68 states, including France, signed a multilateral agreement aimed at reducing the opportunities for tax fraud by multinational firms.

France, which is strongly committed to international efforts to combat tax avoidance and fraud, welcomes this major step forward.

This instrument will make it possible to transpose results from the BEPS Project (to address base erosion and profit shifting), led by the G20 member states and the OECD, into more than 1,000 bilateral tax treaties.
