The Consulate General of France in Boston announced the names of the 23 winning companies of the 2016 New Technology Venture Accelerator (NETVA) competition yesterday: http://www.france-science.org/-New-Technology-Venture-Accelerator-.html

The NETVA program was launched in 2010 and helps young French innovative companies to establish themselves in the United States - and in Canada since 2015 -, by training them on the specific characteristics of these markets and helping them to meet with potential partners. More than 60 firms have benefited from the program. As such, the winning companies of the 2016 edition will receive training in Paris on June 21, 22 and 23, in partnership with Bpifrance, and will then take part in a one-week immersion trip to North America (Boston, San Francisco, Washington and Toronto) in October.

Technological innovation and support for the international expansion of our start-ups are a major priority of our economic diplomacy. These efforts were commended in the most recent Capgemini and Altimeter report published on May 26, 2016, which ranks Paris as the 3rd most popular destination in the world for innovation centers.
