Economic appeal – Agriculture – Inauguration by Mathias Fekl of an event to promote the export of French charcuterie (Paris, October 19, 2016)

Matthias Fekl, Minister of State for Foreign Trade, the Promotion of Tourism, and French Nationals Abroad, hosted an event dedicated to promoting the export of French charcuterie at the Quai d’Orsay, in collaboration with the French Federation of Prepared-Meat Industries and Prepared-Food Suppliers (FICT).

This event took place during the International Food Exhibition in Paris from October 16 to 20 and is supported by the “Club de la table française” [French dining club].

Mr. Fekl reaffirmed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Development’s commitment to promoting French charcuterie products. This industry, which exemplifies the excellence of French regional products, accounts for €600 million in exports.
