This morning Laurent Fabius, president of the COP21, attended the meeting organized by the Jean Jaurès Foundation on the challenges in the fight against climate disruption.

High-level experts and a group of eminent personalities, such as John Kufuor, United Nations Special Envoy on Climate Change and former president of Ghana, and Massimo D’Alema, former Italian prime minister, talked about their national experiences and the impact of climate disruption on economic and human development.

The purpose of this conference is to encourage ideas and propose solutions, with a view to a universal climate agreement, which will be adopted at the 2015 Paris Climate Conference.
