France has ratified the Statute of the International Renewable Energy Agency - IRENA (March 8, 2011)According to the provisions set out in Article XIX of the Statute, the instrument shall enter into force on the thirtieth day after the date of deposit, i.e. 1 April 2011. France will therefore be able to participate as a full member at the first session of the IRENA Assembly, to take place in Abu Dhabi on 4-5 April.
