Support Funding for Training

As a key to the independence of national production, training is an essential element in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ policy for the support of film production in the countries of the Zone de Solidarité Prioritaire.

Every year, the Ministère des Affaires étrangères underwrites a number of Training Programmes for foreign students, in liaison with:

 the FEMIS (summer school, production trainee programmes, script writing, light in films...),

 the INA (Institut National de l’Audiovisuel)

 the Ecole nationale supérieure Louis Lumière,

 the Ateliers Varan,

 the CIFAP.

It favors creating local groups such as the movie’s school "Profils" in Burkina Faso, the "Classes du Cinéma " in Yaounde or "Marubi" school in Albania.
