Fonds Sud Cinéma

Since its creation, the Fonds Sud Cinéma has helped more than 300 film projects. To its credit is the discovery of many new talents acknowledged by international critics and rewarded by the most prestigious festivals.

This fund concerns feature, animation and creative documentary film projects intended for theatrical release in France and abroad. To date, more than 400 films have received support; most of them have been presented and awarded prizes at international film festivals.

The average aid awarded to a film is 110,000 euros, and can not exceed 152,000 euros. The greater part of the sum must be earmarked for post-production in France. An exception may be made in certain cases thus raising from 25 to 50% the amount of funding.
