Films benefiting from aid

As an illustration of the films supported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs through the selective aid funds - the Fonds Sud Cinéma and ADC Sud [Appui au Développement des Cinémas du Sud / Support for the Development of the Film Industries of the South] - you will find a presentation on this site of a selection of work in progress describing the progress made to date on the projects, their geographical origin, and a synopsis and the producer of each film listed.

You will also find technical summaries for 150 films completed made possible by this financial support, illustrated by video extracts and including directors’ biographies.

You will find there introductions to Six African Filmmakers from Mali, Mauritania, Burkina Faso, Guinea-Bissau, Cameroon and Democratic Republic of Congo. Finally, you will discover films that since 1994 have benefited from this aid and found a place in the Cannes Film Selection.
