Bilateral trade :
French exports: 100 million euros. Imports: 20 million euros (2007 data). Sudan is France’s second-leading partner in East Africa, after Kenya.

French companies are present in the oil, mining, cement, hydroelectric and agricultural (gum arabic) sectors.
