Trade between France and Israel has practically doubled in ten years. Our exports to Israel grew 6.4% in 2007 to reach €1.1b. Our market share is 3.8%. France is Israel’s 11th supplier, which is our 48th market. Israel offers real markets and cooperation possibilities, which are still insufficiently exploited, in particular in high technologies and public infrastructure programmes. During his visit to Israel in November 2007, the Secretary of State for businesses and foreign trade, Mr.Novelli, proposed the creation of a Franco-Israeli investment fund to finance innovative, young SMEs (competitive cluster and incubators).
