The decree of 14 December 2009 suspends the requirement for a short-stay visa for Antigua Barbuda nationals travelling to Martinique and Guadeloupe. The Agreement on Exchange of Information on Tax Matters between the two countries was signed by an exchange of letters dated 26 March 2010, and was ratified by France after a National Assembly plenary debate, called for by the opposition.
