Mr. Brahimi has just indicated that the Syrian authorities have agreed to a ceasefire during Eid. What’s your response?
We supported Mr. Brahimi’s proposal for a ceasefire. We reaffirm that it’s up to the Syrian regime, which is pursuing a crackdown against its own people, to make the first step.
