• Flooding in Senegal – France’s contribution to the rehabilitation of schools (26.09.12)

  A contribution of €150,000 will be made in the next few days which will help contribute to the rehabilitation of classrooms, as the start of the school year approaches.

• Visit by Laurent Fabius to West Africa (26-28.07.12)

  This visit will provide an opportunity to discuss, in addition to country-specific situations, the Malian crisis with the countries in the region that are most concerned and to seek their views on possible solutions to the crisis. During the first stage of the visit, in Niger, the minister will also address the issue of food security. The Senegal leg of the visit will be devoted to the themes of democratic renewal and youth.
