France welcomes the release of 46 Burmese prisoners, including 23 prisoners of conscience, and welcomes this new sign of the willingness of the Burmese authorities to promote national reconciliation.
France calls for the release of all prisoners of conscience: as Ms. Aung San Suu Kyi reaffirmed during her visit to Paris, one political prisoner is one too many.
