A : Once again, while we’re expecting Iran to comply with its international obligations under the resolutions of the UN Security Council and the IAEA Board of Governors, this country is choosing to make announcements that are at odds with the willingness to cooperate.

These announcements all constitute further grounds for concern for the international community.

The Ministre d’Etat declared yesterday to the National Assembly: “The Iranian military nuclear program now constitutes one of the most serious threats to peace, not just in the region, but throughout the world” and “we believe that Iran is continuing to develop this program.”

These announcements by Iran only serve to strengthen this conviction.
