  France utterly condemns the murder of Alfredo Villatoro Rivera, a journalist and co-director of a Honduran radio station, who had been kidnapped on May 9. We express our solidarity with his family as well as with the editorial team of HRN radio.

• Honduras – Comayagua tragedy (16.02.12)

  France has decided to respond to the appeal for international assistance by the Honduran government, which is asking for help with respect to treating victims with serious burns and forensics. Today, the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs will send 600 liters of serums, 600 pain treatment kits and 200 burn treatment kits. All of this assistance will make it possible to treat at least 50 of the most seriously affected burn victims over the next few weeks.
