  • Ebola – France’s support for the authorities of Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone (30.07.14)

France has been mobilized since the beginning of the crisis, in conjunction with the World Health Organization (WHO) and the authorities of the concerned countries. It is providing technical support and expertise to contain the epidemic. Our embassies, particularly in Guinea (which also has jurisdiction for Sierra Leone) and Liberia, are in close contact with the health monitoring and care facilities established in each of those countries.

  • Guinea – Agreement on the date of the parliamentary elections (24.09.13)

France commends the role of the facilitator, Said Djinnit, Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General for West Africa, as well as the spirit of consensus that has prevailed. We call on all political actors to continue to work to ensure that the parliamentary elections will allow Guinea to complete its democratic transition process.
