Greece – Meeting between Matthias Fekl and his counterpart (Paris, February 18, 2016)

Matthias Fekl, minister of state for foreign trade, the promotion of tourism, and French nationals abroad, met with Dimitris Mardas, Greece’s deputy minister of foreign affairs responsible for international economic relations.

They reviewed the implementation of the economic component of the French-Greek declaration instituting the Strategic Partnership for the Future adopted during President Hollande’s official visit to Greece last October 22-23.

The main goals of this partnership are to energize French investors in Greece, to strengthen cooperation between our businesses in third countries, and to expand exchanges – particularly for small and medium-size companies- in such key sectors as infrastructures, tourism, energy, new technologies, the digital economy, and agriculture.

France is Greece’s eighth-largest supplier and third-largest client.
