Our bilateral relations are based on long-standing ties, which are fuelled by the memory of the role France played when it established a military protectorate in the Korça region in 1916 and its contribution to training Albania’s elite between the two wars, with the creation of the Lycée Français in Korça.

High-level political dialogue is constant and confident, and interparliamentary exchanges are being rekindled.
