Campus France

Campus France is the French agency in charge of promoting higher education and managing the reception and international mobility of students, researchers, experts and guests. A decree from December 30th, 2011 indicates the agency’s terms of action.

CNOUS-CROUS

Placed under the supervision of the Ministry of National Education, Higher Education and Research, the Centre National des Œuvres Universitaires et Scolaires (CNOUS) runs the CROUS network. Its objective is to give all students the same chances to access and succeed in higher education by assisting them in their day-to-day matters. The CNOUS seeks to make students’ lives easier in many areas: food, accommodation, scholarships and grants, social and cultural actions, opening up to the world, etc.

Agency for French Education Abroad (AEFE)

The Agency for French Education Abroad (AEFE), which was set up in 1990, fulfills public service duties regarding the education of French children living outside France and helps to raise the profile of the French language and culture, as well as strengthen relations between the French and foreign education systems. The AEFE’s objective is to serve and promote a school network which is the first of its kind in the world, bringing together 488 schools based in 130 countries.
